Video Editing: Overlaying

I used this technique in order to add two videos on top of each other. the first step is to choose the section of video you want to overlay. After this, you place one of the videos in the 'video 2' section  above 'video 1'. Then i clicked on the 'effect controls', after this you click on opacity and choose a blending mode, similar to photoshop. I looked through the list in order to find the best suited setting which was 'colour dodge'.
For this shot i did the exact same as above, but this time i chose 'Darker Colour' as the blending mode.

i now have video clips for all of the audio, this was the aim i had given myself from draft 1 of my music video to draft 2.

January Time Management

Progress Review / Time Management

  • At the minute i am happy with my progress, i have a couple of changes which i am going to make to my website, such as adding more text and putting a live link to the website so the audience are able to interact with the website.
  • For my CD ancillary task i still have a couple of small changes to make in order to make it of a higher standard, for example making sure that i have all of the cover including the inside sleeves and making sure that they work well together.
  • For my music video, i am essentially finished. However i feel like i may be able to re-shoot some of the shots in order to make the video of higher quality.
  • My research and planning is almost complete, i just have a few more posts i feel i could add in order to improve my blog work.
